I use the ACEP Facility Level Coding Guidelines. One of the possible interventions under 99284 states: Administration and Monitoring of infusions or parenteral medications (IV, IM, IO, SC) NG/PEG.
Do you see this as Administration and Monitoring both together? Looking at an injection / IV push of pain med right before a patient is discharged (not monitored). Wonder if that should be 99283? Thanks
