We had a 5 yo little girl today vitals were taken, & pt. was assessed by a provider. She is an established patient. A Rochepin shot was ordered, the shot was drawn up. The mother refused the shot. How do we charge? Do we charge for the Rocephin?

no...can't charge anything- it wasn't given... there's NOTHING to charge. apparently they should have gotten the "ok" for they shot BEFORE the got it ready. Mom has a right to refuse. You can't bill for something not given/not done.
