Great West is paying the injection procdure (25246) at the out of network rate but the codes 73201 and 73115 at the in network rate. They are stating the codes 73201 and 73115 are covered under RAPs and the 25246 is a surgical code. One is needed for the other. The CPT book shows under 25246 use code 73115 for supervision and interpretation. Has anyone else dealt with this issue before? Is there any reference we can use to proof this should also be paid at the higher level? Thank you in advance for your help.
