Need help with CPT admin codes...new to this department

A patient was started on hydration at 8:00 a.m. to avoid toxicity from chemotherapy. Chemotherapy was started at 9:00 a.m. and stopped at 11:00 a.m. Hydration was stopped at 11:59 a.m.

The chemotherapy would be 96413, 96415. Was the hydration given to "keep vein open"?

Hello,

The chemotherapy would be 96413, 96415. Was the hydration given to "keep vein open"?
If so, you wouldn't bill for this.
