I have been submitting the billing with a date range of the stay example: 11/01-11/05 and making the quantity 5. Now I'm being told that this is incorrect and each day needs to be individually submitted. What is the correct way to bill for inpatient hospital stays?
 
What type of service are you billing for, professional hospital visits or the facility fees for R&B? Your post doesn't include enough information to answer the question currently.
 
Same question as @CBLENNIE . Are you billing for the physician or the facility?
I have seen and billed physician claims with a date range and a quantity before and I have seen them done one at a time too. I think it depends. It could be an internal way they want it done.
