Riddle me this; Can a doc charge for an E/M on a patient who is sleeping and does not wake the patient up, but yet wants to charge a level 2? My gut instinct says, no, but I would like opinions.

I would say NO. If the Dr. didn't evaluate the patient then it would be the same as rounding on the patient when they are out of the room.
