I code for inpatient physicians. While they are doing the exam they list the following with in the exam:

General - intubated and sedated
Muscoskeletal - warm, well profused

I have found conflicting information on the intubated and sedated as to whether or not you count this towards the total exam.

On the warm, well profused - you would count well profused as circulatory but would you also count warm under skin?

Thanks

I would count -
General - intubated and sedated as Constitutional (in 97g - Constitutional, general appearance)
Muscoskeletal - warm, well profused as Skin (in 97g - Inspect skin and palp skin)
Hope that helps!
