Hi, this patient had surgery but had a seizure postoperatively and was admitted to the ICU. She was then transferred to the floor after stabilizing. Her physician saw her on the floor for follow-up. This would be coded as a subsequent hospital visit - correct?
 
You would be correct unless your dr was called in for a consult, in that case, you'd code it as such.
