Hello, how do you guys deal with the Medicare IPO CPT list? I know what it is and what is on it, but the problem is, the payers (Clover, NJ Health) will not approve "inpatient" status on a precert just because that CPT is on that list. They will approve for "outpatient", but then claim denies for place of service. I have tried appeals, contacting our reps, etc and nothing works. Does anyone have any advice?
