I know this has probably been addressed before but I have a question about the pts insurance card.....the scenario is......the pt recently got married......the insurance card has her married name on it....but her driver's license has her maiden name.....which name do we go by for the pt to put in our computer......I was told in some of the billing meetings that I have attended that you should go by the driver's license of the pt.....hope someone can answer quickly....thanks everyone.
