Can anyone tell me if they have any issues using a clearinghouse such as Passport Emdeon, etc for verifying eligibility for insurance carriers? I am being quoted by a consultant that only 40% of all patients can be e-verified. I have not found this to be the case but wanted to what issues others are having. The providers we have been working with are not having many issues at all. I am just wondering if it may be the clearinghouse being utilized.
