Wiki Integrative vs. Traditional Approach-Code as new patient?

Good morning! We have a new provider that has left her traditional endocrinology practice and has opened a Wellness Center that will focus on an "integrative approach". If she has current patients from her former endocrinology practice that follow her to her new practice, can she code as a new patient (even though it hasn't been 3 years?). She is now offering an integrative vs. traditional approach, thus each patient is new correct? I am open to any suggestions and/or opinions. Thanks so much!
