My doc did a Right carotid endarterectomy with a shortening of the right internal carotid artery with patch closure..

Just wondering in the shortening included or is there a CPT I am missing somewhere for it!! I cant seem to find any information on shortening of the internal carotid :-/ any help is greatly appreciated!
 
Not separately billable

This bundles into the carotid endartectomy. It's done to provide a better "lay" of the artery which goes to establishing/promoting inflow/outflow by any means necessary. 35301 is all they get. :)

Thank you!! that is what I thought but my dr insisted that there should b something else to go with it! Just wanted the reassurance! Thank yoiu again
