The Interventional Radiologist is performing a CT Guided percutaneous Internal Mammary Lymph Node Biopsy, which is 6.18 cm deep. Would this be 38505 or would it be consider a Mediastinum biopsy 32405?
 
Hello PMFGIBSON,

I believe if a needle is used I agree with 38505 or 38530 for biopsy of lymph node (s), internal mammary node along with the IR codes.

Hope this helps somewhat clarify further~:)
