I am a recent graduate of a CPC certification. I would struggle to actually do the job or pass the AAPC exam. Anyone have any advice or jobs that are looking for someone to train or even possibly a tutor? I am trying to transition from a career in restaurants to medical billing! Please help!

Do you mean you’ve completed a prep course? If so, your next step is to sit for the exam. If you feel unprepared, purchase the AAPC practice exams, and do them several times before scheduling your exam. Accuracy as well as speed will play a factor, and the practice exams will help with both.

As for a tutor, that’s a bit more challenging, but start with contacting some mentors (there’s a mentor section on these message boards) . If they can’t tutor, they may be able to recommend someone
Honestly, it takes practice and dedication. You have to put in the time.
