Our general surgeon was asked by OB/GYN surgeon to "take a look" at patient's abdomen during surgery. The OB/Gyn open and closed patient. Our surgeon just inspected the abdomen, found nothing abnormal, and left. Would this be an intraoperative consult? Thanks.

Yes it is. As long as in her OP note she dictated that she requested for your surgeon to come in. Most cases will not get audited, but it is better safe than sorry
