Hello,

Can a facility charge for intubation if it was not performed but the supplies were used trying to?

I'm not sure I was thinking the Intubation code with a -52 or -53, but I'm not sure on facility billing?

For facility charges, you can bill the intended procedure with modifier 73 (prior to anesthesia) or 74 (after anesthesia). Our policy is to decrease the billed charges by half when billing with these modifiers.
