Has anyone been able to invent a job for themselves? I'm not finding a job and things are getting tight, money-wise... I am going to try to invent a job by going to work as a companion for a Care Giver company. I'm thinking that if I get in, and get a start on the actual work, after some time I can move around in the business model. I will make myself a plan to study things that get coded (deeper study, more practice) as such in this industry... Does anyone have anything they did that is close to that?

Have you tried applying for medical records clerical jobs at your local hospitals and Dr’s offices? That would be another stepping stone that has the potential of getting your foot in the door. I started by first working as an admissions clerk, followed by a medical records clerk. When a coding position opened up, they gave me the opportunity.
