Hi guys!

I was wondering if someone could help me with this. We have been getting reports from an IR doctor stating that he supervised an RN performing a placement of a PICC line. I am thinking there is nothing we can bill for the IR doc because he did nothing during the procedure but supervise. Are we correct on this? Thanks in advance!! :D

Is this performed in the hospital? If so and the RN is an employee of the hospital you cannot bill as the hospital would incur the costs for this. If it is in the clinic, you could bill.
