I'm looking for someone who codes interventional radiology for the hospital. My company has been offered several hospital accounts where we would be coding for both the hospital and the radiologist in preparation for the implementation of the OIG common working file. My experience in coding for the hospital is limited (and rusty!) so I needed someone that could answer a few basic questions and/or provide coding references pertaining to this subject.
Also, does anyone know what the salary/rate that most hospital IR coders average? Contract coders & hospital-employed coders.
