Wiki Is double-booking patients a compliance concern?

I posed this question in a slightly different way on the General Discussion board but wanted a compliance perspective. In my opinion, it is a compliance issue only if the office has a policy that prohibits double booking office visits and it would be a quality control concern, more than a compliance concern. What's your take? Have you heard of an office being "dinged" from a compliance perspective for double booking visits?
