Hi
"20mg kenalog, 0.5cc marcaine preparation was injected into left medial elbow at common flexor mass"
Billed as 20550. Is this correct. ?
20551 is if injected at origin point. But how to identify origin point?
Dx is medial epicondylytis.
Thanks

Hello the difference is 20550 is tendon sheath, or ligament, aponeurosis such as the plantar fascia.
20551 is into a single tendon.
I would say you are right doesn't sound like it was deep injection. Look at documentation again. Hope this helped:)
