When someone drops an iud on the floor and can't be used because it's not sterile is there anyway to get any kind of reimbursement for that? thanks!

I'll give you an analogy here. Let's say that instead of being a healthcare provider, you were an auto shop and someone brought you a car to have a new windshield installed, and your technician dropped the replacement windshield and broke it. Would you try to get the car owner to then pay for two windshields?

I figured not! But just thought I would double check and see. Thanks
