I am billing for a provider that is giving 1 gram of this injectible antibiotic. I do not see a code for that so I have been using 4 units. However we are not being re-imbursed for the 4 units. Any suggestions?
 
Are you being reimbursed for anything or is it a straight up denial? What payer?

I've only had one provider inject less than 1 gram. Otherwise, it's always been 4 units.
 
Yes I am being reimbursed for around $2.00 if that. I am using the 4 units but I can't imagine that the reimbursement is that pathetic. All payers I believe.
