Good morning,
I have a patient with BCBS of NC and we have billed 96372 and J1071. The patient brought in the meds. We billed 96372 originally by itself but the insurance denied as needing to know what med was administered. So we added the j code with the charge being $0.01. They're still denying it. Any ideas on how to fix it? Diagnosis is E29.1. NDC is correct.

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I have a similar scenario with patient supplied B12 and am trying to determine how I can obtain reimbursement on 96372.
