In our Pediatric practice when we are billing J8540 with H0033 Oral Dexamethasone most of the Ins companies are rejecting that code. What is the reason is there anything we need to know? Please advice

H0033 seems to be a code for administration of oral meds but in the mental health specialty. You said you are peds.

Yes we are a pediatrics practice and we have been told after research that bill with H0033 when we give oral medication like Dexamethasone Orally for Croup in Kids?
