Hi everyone,

I totally understand everyone's frustration as CPC-A's and trying to find jobs. After 4 months of trying before my certification and 3 months after, I got a job processing insurance claims. So there is opportunities out there to use your coding skills. I am a week into it and its definitely a lot to absorb and learn the process of. What I am hoping now is that a year from now that I can remove my A status.

So my piece of advice is think of industries you hadn't thought about, for me it was insurance. I agree too that the hospitals are just too competitive and very tough to break into.

It will happen!

I took my exam December 14th and have been looking for a job with no success. I thought getting a job within the hospital I work would be a natural progression but nothing yet, So frustrating. So if I look in industries I normally wouldn't like insurance, how do I know what I am qualified to do?
