Has anyone hear of this??

I guess in our contract with Kaiser Senior Advantage (we are in california) it says Kaiser will pay per ASA code when multiple surgeries are being done while our Dr is the acting anesthesiologist. I guess we would bill each asa code and they will pay a percentage of each. I never thought insurances would do this and we should always pick the asa with the highest unit value but its right there in the contract.

Anyone have additional info???
