Does anyone have any ideas on how to code Karapandzic flaps? it was suggested that 40525 would be good, then a myocutaneous flap.
Local 1% lidocaine, 1:100,000 epinephrine was injected into the left lower lip
and the area was sterily prepped and draped .A wedge excision was used with a 15
blade to remove the scca and sent for frozen section, margins were clear.4-0
Chromic was used to reapproximate the mucosa and the skin flaps were developed
with undermining of b/l Karapandzic flaps to reduce the stress on the lower lip
closure.4-0 chromic was used for the dermis and 4-0 Nylon for the skin,
bacitracin was applied
