Wiki Kenalog mg combined?

Good morning. If our provider reports Kenalog given at 2 separate sites same mg same volume, do you combine the two and report a total? Our provider is reporting the same dosage on 2 separate lines. If different dosage on 2 separate sites you would report two different lines? Correct? Thank you. I have myself confused.

If you would use the same HCPCS for it, then a drug should be billed on one line and add up the total units. For instance, if they injected 40 mg into one joint and 20 mg into another, you'd bill J3301 x6.
