Hello, can anyone tell me which cpt is better to use for ileostomy take down, the 44312 or 44620?:rolleyes:
 
I would use 44620 for just the takedown and nothing else, but if MD is actually re-doing the ileostomy then I would use 44312 for the revision. Hope that helps.
