Has anyone else had a problems with claims coming back for dx code in the "L"? I work in dermatology and have had several claims coming back with notes that the dx code isn't effective for this DOS.

If the claims are dated after 10/01/2020 there may be an updated ICD-10 code. If they are prior to 10/01/2020 and you are using ICD-10 codes from the 2021 book it will kick back because those codes weren't effective yet. Not sure if that is what's happening or not just a thought. Hope this helps.
