I am probably 'overthinking' this but would really appreciate any guidance.

L3 metastasis
L2-4 percutaneous screw fixation

Four linear skin incisions 4cm lateral to midline on either side approx. 1 inch
in length were planned and formed with a 15 blade knife... Jamshidi needles were then used to
access the pedicles at L2 on each side, and then at L4 on each side.... The pedicles were
prepared with a tapered tap that was passed over the guidewire. Next, 6.5x50mm
pedicle screws were placed over each guidewire and placement was confirmed with
fluoroscopy. This process was repeated at each level. A 6.5x80mm rod was then
inserted and locked in place using set screws on each side...
