How does everyone bill their lab draws if there is not a doctor on the premises during the lab draw? I thought that since it is a "procedure" a physician had to be in the office.
What if one doctor orders the labs and when the patient gets here a different physician is on the premises? Do you bill under who ordered it or who is actually here?
