My company just changed its policy for billing vaginal deliveries. When an MD & CRNA start the epi, we bill 01967 with the base units and the time. Now, if there's a shift change while treating this patient, we are to bill only the time for the new shift.

Has anyone done this? I haven't heard of billing this way, so I just want to make sure it's ethical.

TIA
