First time seeing this in an OP Note
Surgeon performs a laminectomy for disc herniation after decompression was achieved physician implants an interspinous device for stabilization
How do you code for the device?

If you don't have access to the records, you might be able to get more info from the hospital coder as to what kind of device they used. Was it instrumentation?
 
I have the information on the device it's a coflex interlaminar device, in researching further I'm being directed to use 0171T.
Has anyone else coded for this procedure before? Trying not to be frustrated :confused:
