I have a pt who had a left sided laminectomy and diskectomy, L4-5 with partial foraminotomy over the L5 nerve root. the pt has a dx of lateral stenosis with ssociated disc herniation the doctor coded this as 63047,63048. I was looking at codes 63030,63035. Can someone tell me the difference in the two codes and which one do I use.
