Hi I am new to bariatric services. I have a question I am hoping someone might be able to help me. We have patients that come into the office for their post op visit. While they are here the provider does a band adjustment. Can I still bill for the band adjustment with the patient being in a global period? I am thinking it is the same thing as an x-ray during global period, but I am not sure. Thank you.
 
Its bundled in the Global period. This information is in the CPT book in the guidelines section that accompanies the codes for the surgery.
