can i Code both the codes 58661,49322... ???

Need help... :)
 
According to the OB/GYN coding companion, there is a CCI edit that prevents coding 49322 with 58661 if billing under MDC (although most other payers seem to follow suit with these edits in my experience)
 
Medicare lists 58661 as a Unilateral procedure. Perhaps by adding -50 Modifier for bilateral procedure (here, bilateral salpingectomy), the "work" of the ovarian aspiration could be re-couped. Just my thoughts.
