A very obese patient comes in for a Lap incisional hernia repair x 4 and she had an adnexal mass seen on CT that OBGYN was concerned about. She (OBGYN) assisted the surgeon for the first two hours of the surgery and then tried to visualize the adnexal mass but do to the size of the patient was unable to do so. Is there anything to charge for her services?
