I'm new to coding general surgery. Could someone please help me with a lap resection of distal stomach and proximal duodenum with Roux-en-Y gastrojejunostomy. The diag is adenocarcinoma, duodenal bulb area. Also does anyone know of any good resources, books ect. for gasto/colon coding. I did get the specialty book from the AAPC

It's a 43659, Unlisted laparoscopy procedure, stomach. Comparable to open code 43633. I wish they would add more codes for laparoscopic procedures!
