Our doctor performs Laparascopic Component Separation with ventral hernia repairs on occasion. There is an open procedure, 15734, but no laparascopic one. I would use unlisted laparascopic procedure, but there is no unlisted lap procedure code for grafts and flaps. What would be the correct way to report this?

I have never heard of doc doing component seperation laparoscopically.. Seems like the very nature of procedured dictates open
 
wow!!!! think you will have to go with unlisted equivalent to 15734.....is that the right code??? don't have my book here
