Hi, everyone

my doctor performed OPEN Laparascopy BTL.

I am thinking 58670 with v25.2.

However, the OPEN part is throwing me off. Is there a diff code for OPEN Laparascopy BTL??? Thanks in advance.
 
I believe it would be either a laparoscopy OR an open laparotomy. Are you sure the transcriptionist just didn't make a typo? Have you asked your physician? Sorry, I just have never heard of such a thing.
