New to OB/GYN and need help coding for an IUD retrieval from abdomen, performed laparoscopically. Apparently, the IUD has perforated into the pelvis. Is there are different code if the IUD is embedded or not embedded?
 
Looks like you need to use the unlisted code and send documentation.

If this were a hysteroscopic removal, then the code would be 58562.
