Wiki laparotomy and complex wound closure

If a surgeon places retention sutures when closing a laparotomy incision, does this change the coding to complex wound closure?

Closure included

Closure is included when you make a surgical incision. The only exception is for removal of skin lesions which require more than simple closure.

I agree with the above poster, suturing the site is inclusive in the procedure(Laparotomy)...
