Hello,

I bill in the ABA field and unfortunately we can not check benefits every time because the clients have appointments daily/weekly. ABA can not be billed straight Medi-Cal. Client's need to have a medi-cal insurance carrier. We just found out a client's medi-cal with one insurance termed on 2/2 and the new insurance did not start until 03/01. My question is the client responsible for payments for services provided during the lapse of coverage. Can we bill them?

Thanks,
