We have pain management doctors in our ASC facility who are now doing laser ablation/transections. I am using 64635/64636 for these procedures. One of the doctors was told that he can use 64772 for these procedures. I disagree for a number of reasons the main being this is an open procedure. What I am looking for is does anyone code laser ablations? If so what codes do you use? Also does anyone have any information or a resource I can go to that I can show to the doctors.
