I'm hoping someone could help me out? We have a PA who wants to get a certificate for Hair Laser Removal. The only code I can find is 17999. Does anyone know of a price list or a website that could help educate us on what/how we can bill? Thanks!!

We have a laser machine at our office and we charge cash only. insurance won't pay for cosmetic procedures.

We use code 96999 for informational purposes only, since this is not considered "medically necessary" and is not covered by any payer that I know of. As a cosmetic procedure, we provide this treatment as a cash service. I googled "laser hair removal cost", and came up with this website for an organization in Houston who provides this service, so this might give you an idea.
