I have a patient who would like to start process of Laser hair removal to get covered by insurance. I know this would be tough but patient gets a lot of blood drawn and Ekg’s because he was diagnosed with Leukemia and the hair gets in the way and leaves him with scars and ingrown hairs all over. Is there any way to get this covered? Will a letter of medical necessity be enough? Any thoughts on this?
