I would appreciate any feedback re: "late entry " billing

Example: Patient was seen at inpatient long term care unit by Dr.X on 4/12/13, doctor documented week later 4/19/13 as "late entry" patient was seen on 4/12/13.....

Is provided service billable if it's documented week later? If not, can anyone please reference any article about this?

Yes the service is billable unless you have a site specific policy that indicates otherwise. Many doctors are not timely with their documentation and it is still billable.
